Please read how cool our authors from the past are, which is best discovered by directly reading their literature- both banned books and not. Understanding the time period it was written will be of great importance, which may mean you have to read introductions and indexes. You may learn their motivations for the novel were not as self based as we would guess. By reading and studying Ovid and Milton, you may make opinions as bias as the medium through which they forced their opinions of the time. Author of social reform and radical freedom fighter, Milton helped shape history and informed the public through metaphor.

From the study of literature you may recognize that, although our musicians of today may take center stage in radical reform as well as political influence, the literary genuises of our past were more subtle and their influence was purer. Although money is always of great importance, from Tolstoy to Milton, the great writers outdid the musicians of today with an appreciation of what is possible and what is possibly desired. With concern to poor economic systems and the social blindspots that were troubling them in their time, they wrote about a truth that remains timeless, and knew that the struggle of humanity in one individual mirrors the masses. The authors I love helped bring change by sharing their ideas and maintained their influence by motivating blind generations.
